Cement and sand for a sand and cement floor screed, by weight and by the bucket.

Screed calculator

How it is worked out

Screed is mixed 1 : 4 cement to sand by weight. Dry materials take up about a third more than the laid screed. A 50 mm screed takes about 21 kg cement and 83 kg sand per m² (see 5.3).

By the bucket the same mix is about 1 : 3½, because cement is lighter than sand.
